Acceptable stay with some drawbacks

The hotel has a great green environment. The on-site restaurant was nice, and the food was amazing. Jonathan and Gerardo, part of the restaurant staff, were accommodating and helpful with planning. They also have a yoga class available on site. It is free. A cenote is on the hotel for swimming.
The room was modern with a jungle view. It was a bit small and lacked a sitting area like a couch. The restaurant adds a service charge, and they ask for an optional tip on top. (I found this a bit redundant.)

the hotel had a really amazing vibe with awesome music near the cenote and delicious food. the design of both the rooms and the public areas showed careful attention to detail. the hotel seemed like a jungle garden because everything was so well maintained. i also found it helpful that many restaurants and clubs are nearby and within walking distance.
saturday room service became unavailable and calls were declined consistently. i had to order dinner from the restaurant and have it delivered to my room but the order was incorrect and i was charged for it. shortly after they brought the correct order but i no longer wanted it and they still made me pay for the uneaten food.

The onsite cenote was a UNIQUE and lovely addition to the hotel.
Saturday room service became UNAVAILABLE, and all calls kept getting declined. I had to order dinner at the restaurant for delivery to my room. The staff brought the wrong order and charged me for it. Soon after, they brought the correct order, but I no longer wanted it, yet they still made me pay for food I did not even eat. I felt scammed out of my money.
